GENARO SANTOS

Genaro Santos, 75, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025.

Mr. Santos was born in Santa Fe Nuevo Leon but had been a lifelong resident of Laredo.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Genaro Santos and Amparo Luna De Santos, by his brother Rodolfo Santos and his sister Dora Santos.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years of marriage Gertrudis M. Santos.

His children, Marisela (Armando Rodriguez) Santos and Gabriela (Derly Ramos) Santos.

Grandchildren, Michelle Gomez, Nazario Ramos, Nathan Ramos, Ivan Gomez., Mia Gomez and Damien Ramos.

Great-grandchildren, Madison Lara, Roberto Lara, Rolando Lara, Rodolfo Lara, Liam Ramos, Nathan Ramos Jr. and Isaiah Cepeda.

He is also survived by brothers, sisters, numerous other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 8 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Southside Chapel, located at Loop 20 and Zapata Highway. A Vigil of the Deceased  and Liturgy of the Word will be officiated at 11 a.m. at the Southside Chapel officiated by Rev. Deacon. Rogelio "Roger" Martinez. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
