GENOVEVA V. RAMIREZ
Genoveva V. Ramirez, 93, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019 , in Laredo, Texas.
Mrs. Ramirez was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Graciano and Cresencia Vazquez.
Sisters, Manuela (Gumercindo) Tovar, Juanita Vasquez and Guadalupe Vasquez.
Brother, Jose (Rosa) Vasquez.
She is survived by her loving husband, of 60 years of marriage, Narciso Ramirez.
Children, Elsa Belinda (Kevin) Shannon and Hector Rolando Ramirez.
Grandchildren, Venessa Ramirez, Melissa Ramirez, Brenda Lee (Chris) Garcia, Rene (Helen) De la Rosa, Catalina (Rodolfo) Sanchez and Christiana G. Shannon.
11 great grandchildren.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapel, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, December 27, 2019. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
