GERARDO ALMEIDA

Gerardo Almeida, 49, passed away on Wednesday, November  8, 2023.

Mr. Almeida was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident. He studied Culinary Arts and was employed as a Personal Chef for numerous individuals, as well as provided culinary services to local hospitals and other entities.

He is preceded in death by his father, Miguel Almeida.

He is survived by his children, Victoria (Aaron) Russell and Jerry (Alexandra) Almeida Jr.

Grandchildren, Peter Townes Russell, Sierra Russell and Julie Russell.

Mother, Macaria Arredondo Almeida.

Siblings, Janie (Mark) Tinsley, Sandra (Eddie) Castaneda and Mike (Mari) Almeida.

Also surviving him are numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Committal services will be held on a later date.
