GERARDO GARZA JR.
Gerardo Garza Jr., 79, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019, at a local hospital.
Mr. Garza was born in Puebla, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Garza.
Granddaughter, Grizelda Hernandez.
Great-grandson, Master Dominic Alexander Hernandez.
Mother of his children, Domitila Garza.
Father, Gerardo Garza Sr.
He is survived by his children, Mary Alice (Felix) Nuñez, Mary Yolanda Garza Hernandez and Rodolfo (Sandra) Garza.
Grandchildren, Felix, Joshua (Priscilla), Isela Nuñez, Angelica (Jose Manuel), Ramiro (Patty), and Ricardo Hernandez, Sandra, Cassandra (Danny) and Alexsandra Garza.
9 great grandchildren.
Siblings, Irma (Juan) Reta, Graciela (Eloy) Flores, Ester (Jose) Peña, Alma (Rudy) Lerma, Nicolas (Maria) Garza and Rosa (Zaragosa) Garcia.
Also surviving him are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 26, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, May 27, 2019. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services will be held on a later date.
