GERARDO JOSE "JERRY" SALAZAR

Gerardo Jose "Jerry" Salazar, 43, passed away in San Antonio, Texas on Wednesday, April 27, 2024.

Mr. Salazar was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident. Jerry was a donor and as a result, saved two lives. He worked at Goodwill where he enjoyed working with his co-workers and managers. Jerry was a fan of the San Francisco 49'ers and the Los Angeles Lakers. He loved to cookout on Saturdays for his little family. Jerry will be dearly missed by family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Amparo Martinez and Delfino Dimas.

Also surviving are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased, officiated by Rev. Deacon Leonard Aguillon will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Committal services will be held on a later date.

The Family would like for those in attendance to wear a white or red shirt in his memory.
