GERONIMO RUIZ

Geronimo Ruiz, 81, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023.

Mr. Ruiz was born in La Escondida, Agualeguas, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Santos and Josefina Ruiz.

Sister, Maria Cantu Ruiz.

Brother, Juventino Ruiz.

He is survived by his loving wife, of 56 years of marriage, Maria Teresa Ruiz.

Children, Josefina Ruiz, Araceli Ruiz, Geronimo (Josie) Ruiz, Ruben (Diana) Ruiz, Daniel (Monica) Ruiz and Roberto (Veronica) Ruiz.

15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Brothers, Juan Ruiz and Santos Ruiz.

Sisters, Bertha (Manuel) Gutierrez and Matilde (Alejandro) Rodriguez.

Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Friday, January 27, 2023 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Holy Mass was celebrated at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Geronimo Ruiz Jr., Ruben Ruiz, Daniel Ruiz, Roberto Ruiz, Julio Cesar Ruiz, Daniel Ruiz Jr., Cristian Ivan Ruiz and Allen Ruiz.

HONORARY PALLBEARERS WERE: Marcus Ruiz and Ronaldo Ruiz.
