GILBERTO CASAREZ
Gilberto Casarez, 76, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.
Mr. Casarez was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Aurora Casarez.
His beloved wife, Virginia Casarez.
Brother, Hector Casarez.
He is survived by his children, Angelina (Rogelio) De Leon, Ana (Jeff) Sons, Lydia Casarez, Gilberto (Hope) Casarez, Jr., Ricardo (Elsa) Casarez, Roberto (Rebecca) Casarez, Ernesto (Marisa) Zepeda, Lisa Escobar and David Casarez.
23 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Brother, Jose (Amelia) Casarez.
Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 departing from the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Southside Chapel, 2501 Ligarde St.
Holy Mass was celebrated at Santo Niño Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Laredo City Cemetery.
PALLBEARERS WERE: Jeff Sons Sr., Jeff Sons Jr., Rogelio De Leon Jr., Rodolfo De Leon, David Casarez, Treyce Casarez, Ricardo M. Casarez Jr. and Abraham Casarez.
