Gilberto Javier Tenorio, 77, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2026.

Mr. Tenorio was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.

He is preceeded in death by his parents, Rodolfo and Aurora Tenorio.

His beloved wife, Alejandra Maria Tenorio.

Brothers, Rodolfo Tenorio, Ricardo Tenorio and Mario Tenorio.

Sisters, Gloria Tenorio.

He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Tenorio and Marisela (Cesar Mario) Excobedo.

Grandchildren, Gilberto Javier Lopez, Cesar Fernando Navarrete JR and Javier Enrique Excobedo.

Great grandson, Jonael Lopez.

Brothers, Ruben (Thelma) Tenorio, Jorge (Maria) Tenorio and Juan (Josie) Tenorio.

Sisters, Rosario Walker and Aurora Ybarra.

Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home on Thursday, August 27, 2026. Holy Mass will be celebrated at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services will be held on a later date.
