Gilberto Manzo, 78, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at a local hospital.

Mr. Manzo was born in Tangancicuaro, Mexico and had been a long life resident.

He is preceded in death by his parents Baltazar and Amparo Manzo.

Brother, Eduardo Manzo.

Sister, Irene Manzo.

He is survived by his wife, Eulalia Manzo.

Children, Roberto Manzo, Arturo (Adriana) Manzo, Gerardo (Teresa) Manzo, Luis (Mariela) Manzo, Jose (Melissa) Manzo, Dora (Jorge) Garcia and Nora Manzo.

17 grandchildren.

2 great-grandchildren.

Brother, Fernando (Juliana) Manzo.

Sisters, Sara (Ernesto) Lopez, Ignacia (Ruben) Garcia and Hilda Manzo.

Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons East Chapel, 4500 Thomas Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, March 4, 2016 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
