GILBERTO C. MARTINEZ

Gilberto C. Martinez, 80, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023 in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Martinez was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a lifelong resident.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elva Leticia De Leon.
Parents, Concepcion and Dolores Martinez.
Sister, Maria Aguilar.

He is survived by his children, Karla Isabel De Leon, Alyssa (Nelson) Eguia, Jose Gerardo (Joanna) Moreno, Alfredo Jesus (Kimberly) Martinez, Anthony Solis, Jonathan Erin Recio and Christian Recio.
10 grandchildren.

Also surviving him are numerous other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 departing from the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St at San Bernardo Ave. Holy Mass was celebrated at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Alfredo Martinez, Jose Moreno, Anthony Solis, Jonathan Recio, Christian Recio, Adrian Cantu, Samuel Salazar and Samuel Aguilar.

HONORARY PALLBEARERS WERE: Oscr H. Martinez and Hector Martinez.
