GILBERTO S. RAMOS

Gilberto S. Ramos passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024, peacefully in his home and was born and raised in Laredo, Texas.

Gilberto was a Sergeant in the Vietnam War and was a proud Army Veteran and served in the Army National Guard and was Honorably Discharged. He contributed to many charitable organizations with a passion heart by helping others in need.

Mr. Ramos is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Viera Sr. and Virginia S. Viera.

Brothers, Andres Ramos.

Sisters, San Juana V. Perez.

He is survived by is son Gabriel Ramos.

Loved and missed by brothers and sisters, Maria Luisa (Leonel+) Hernandez, Juan Viera, Rosalinda (Juan Jose) Mendoza, Daniel (Irma) Viera Jr., Diana P. (Rod) Wilkens, Delia (Marcos) Piña, David Viera and is two grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Monday, November 4, 2024 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Holy Mass was celebrated at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Laredo City Cemetery-Veteran's Section.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Gabriel Ramos, Juan Gonzalez, Marcos Pina, Valentin Tapat, Rodulfo Ramos, Andres Ramos III, Joseph Ruiz and Michael Hernandez.
