GLORIA BARRIENTOS

Gloria Barrientos, 78, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024.

Mrs. Barrientos was born in Laredo, Texas and was a resident of Cotulla, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Felipe Barrientos.

Sons, Alonzo Eloy Perez Jr. and Alejandro Perez.

She is survived by her children, Reynaldo Perez, Irma (Daniel) Viera, Armando Perez, Felipe Barrientos III and Jose Manuel Barrientos.

19 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.

Siblings, Maria Guerra, Marina Morales, Dora Alicia Cedillo and Florentino Manuel Gomez.

Also surviving her are numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. A religious service was officiated in the funeral home chapel before committal services and interment which followed at the Laredo City Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE:  Jesus Viera, Reynaldo Perez, Armando Perez, Jose David Barrientos Jr., Timothy Barrientos, Mario Alberto Viera Jr., Jesus Viera Jr. and Joseph Viera.

HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Mario Alberto Viera, Felipe Barrientos, Jose Manuel Barrientos, Florentino Manuel Barrientos, Ishmael Barrientos, Andres Ruiz, Juan Valenzia and Guillermo Gomez.
