Miss Gloria A. Degollado Miss Gloria A. Degollado, 59, passed away Friday, Jan 3, 2014 at her home. Gloria was an avert fan of football especially her Dallas Cowboys. She enjoyed being with her family and friends. She had a love for animals especially the house cats and a special visit from "Bumper" the family french bulldog. She gave 32 years of services to the Laredo Independent School District Child Food Nutrition Program until she retired. She was preceded in death by her parents Alfredo and Maria Luisa Degollado, her sister and brother in law, Galo and Maria Luisa Ramirez, her brother's David Alfredo Degollado and Jorge Guadalupe Degollado. Left to cherish her memories are sister-in-laws Concepcion Degollado and Joan Degollado, nephews and nieces: David (Alyssa) Degollado, Debora Degollado, Alfred (Laura) Degollado, Julia (Andres) Juarez, Jorge Degollado, Jr., Gabriella Ramirez, Gary Degollado, Luis Ramirez, and Rene Ramirez; grand nephew and nieces Shelby Degollado, Ramsey Degollado, Jordan Degollado, and Andres Juarez; and numerous cousins and uncles other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased officiated by Rev. Deacon David Vargas will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave. Committal services will be held at a later date.
