GLORIA G. JIMENEZ

Gloria G. Jimenez, 85, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.

Mrs. Jimenez was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, of over 40 years of marriage, Renato Jimenez.

Granddaughter, Maria de los Angeles Canales.

Sister, Maria de Lourdes Ochoa.

Brother, Felipe Garza.

She is survived by her children, Delia (Mario) Canales, Gloria Diaz de Leon, Aurora (Mario) Gonzalez, Blanca (Eduardo+) Muché, Dulce Maria (Juan) Vasquez, Renato (Sofia) Jimenez, Felipe (Dolores) Jimenez, Jorge Antonio Jimenez and Mario Alberto (Alicia) Jimenez.

24 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Also surviving her are numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2022. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
