Obituary

GLORIA GUADALUPE CASTAñO MALDONADO
Gloria Guadalupe Castaño Maldonado, joined the Lord in paradise, on Thursday, March 15, 2018.
Mrs. Maldonado is preceded in death by her mother, Rosa B. Castaño Aguilar.
Sister, Guadalupe Tabares.
Grandson, Omar Rolando "Pelon" Andrade.
She was a rock, a best friend, a symbol of a strong woman to everyone she met, especially to her family and children.
She always showed strength when in fear and loved without limits.
She was devoted to her husband , Sergio Maldonado, for 62 years and to her father, Marcos Aguilar.
Her children, Raymundo (Margarita), Sergio Jr. (Iliana), Rosa, Jaime (Leticia), Mary Lou (Juan Jose) Robles, Dr. Rafael Maldonado, Griselda (Jarrod) Alley, Gloria (Viri) and Josefina Perales.
Also surviving her are grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
A great Thank You to the Laredo Specialty Hospital, for caring for our angel during her time of need.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Southside Chapel, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, March 19, 2018. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Santo Niño Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
