Obituary

GLORIA M. MENDOZA

Gloria M. Mendoza, 98, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025.

Mrs. Mendoza was born in Laredo, Texas and was a long life resident. She was a Catholic of great faith who would meditate and pray the rosary daily. She loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she cared for. She will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bonifacio Mendoza.
Sisters in law, Jesusita M. Gil and Sofia Macias.
Brother in Law, Miguel Angel Mendoza.
She is survived by her daughters, Gloria M. (Javier) Compean, Magdalena M. Garza and Norma M. (Raul) Ramirez.
Grandchildren, Margie (Daniel) Elizondo, Melissa (Andres) Ysaguirre, Javier (Linda) Compean and Raul Ramirez Jr.
Great grandchildren, Marcos Elizondo, Ruben Elizondo, Jacob Compean and Isabella Compean.
Also surviving her are nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held on Friday, January 31, 2025 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Holy Mass was celebrated at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
PALLBEARERS WERE: Javier G. Compean, Daniel J. Elizondo, Andres D. Ysaguirre, Marcos D. Elizondo, Ruben A. Elizondo and Jacob J. Compean.
HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Javier M. Compean, Raul Ramirez and Raul Ramirez Jr.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Funeral Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave.
