GLORIA L. MONTEMAYOR

Gloria L. Montemayor, 91, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Montemayor was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident. She was a first grade teacher at Macdonell Elementary School for 14 years.

She is preceded in death by her by her parents, Ignacio and Maria Lopez.

She is survived by her children, Raquel (Gerardo) Cardenas, Rita Montemayor, Reymundo (Maria Luisa) Montemayor and Rene Jorge Montemayor.

Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018. Holy Mass  will be celebrated at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
