GLORIA VALERIO Gloria Valerio, 84, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at a local hospital. Mrs. Valerio was born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila Mexico and had been a resident of Laredo, Texas for most of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Maria Valerio. She is survived by her children, Gloria Sylvia (Miguel) Solis, Victor Manuel (San Juana) Rodriguez, Jose Carlos (Isaura Del Carmen) Rodriguez and Andres (Clarissa) Rodriguez. 9 Grandchildren, Gloria (Tony) Ayala, Sylvia (Jose) Dominguez, Gloria (Angel) Reyna, Victor Rodriguez, Gabriela Rodriguez, Jose Carlos (Yvette) Rodriguez, Elizabeth (Roberto) Alva, Justin Rodriguez and Jaden Rodriguez. 6 Great-grandchildren A Special heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Luis Benavides, Dr. Ralph Nimchan, Dr. Manuel J. Gonzalez and Dr. Reynaldo Godines and also to her nurses, Hilda Lucio, Maria Medina, Rosa Belia Reyes and Imelda Davila. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
