GLORIA LIENDO VIGIL
Gloria Liendo Vigil, 86, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021.
Mrs. Vigil was born in Dolores, Texas and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Maria Liendo.
Her beloved husband, of 69 years of marriage, Santiago Vigil.
Daughters, Blanca Eliza Vigil and Sandra Silvia Vigil.
Brother, Roberto V. Liendo.
Sister, Margarita Hernandez.
Grandson, Jason Roy Castellano.
Granddaughter, Cynthia Castellano.
She is survived by her children, Diana E. Barrero, Ricardo (Judy) Vigil, Laura A. (Benny) Castellano, Yolanda Vigil (George Cobos) and Javier Vigil.
11 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Sisters, Josefina (Pedro) Morales and Minerva (Manuel) Rodriguez.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave
. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:05 a.m on Thursday, May 6, 2021. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery –Veteran's section.
