GRACIELA G. DOMINGUEZ Graciela G. Dominguez, 65, entered into rest peacefully in her home on Thursday, May 2, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Graciela was born on October 22, 1947 in Laredo, Texas to the late William & Lilia Gorut. She was retired from the Texas Department of Human Services. Graciela will always be remembered as a devoted mother , grandmother, and great-grand mother. In addition to her parents, her sister Elisa A. Gorut preceded her in death. Her memory will forever be treasured by her children Michael W. (Melissa) Gutierrez, and Gracie (Sean) Geissler . Grandchildren, Cody, Eddie Jr., John, Camryn, Stephen, Geremy, Liliana and Samantha. Great-Grandchildren, Coraline, Makenzie and Eddie III Aunts, Uncles,cousins, other family members, and many friends. A special thanks to Vitas Hospice, Texas Transplant Institute along with Dr. Michael Kwan and Dr. Chandrasekhar Kunavarapu. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Funeral Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, May 6, 2013 from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Committal services will be held at a later date.
