GRACIELA "WECHIE" MEDELLIN

Graciela "Wechie" Medellin passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021, at home, following a brief illness.

Wechie was born in Aguilares, TX. to Ramon Garcia and Olivia Rodriguez and raised in Laredo, TX.

Wechie is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Elodia Garcia, Ofelia Estrada, Teresa Martinez, brother Reymundo Garcia and her husband Juan M. Medellin Sr.

She is survived by her sons Juan M Medellin (Claudia) and Miguel Angel Garcia.

Her grandsons Juan M Medellin III, Alexander Medellin, Allen Medellin, Sean A. Medellin,  Miguel A. Garcia Jr, Nathan Garcia and 1 great granddaughter Faith A. Medellin.

Also surviving her are brothers Ramiro (Carmen) Garcia and Ramon Garcia and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Liturgy of the Word will be officiated at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and sons, Northside chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Committal Services will be held on a later date.
