GREGORIO ORTIZ JR.

Gregorio Ortiz Jr., 76, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at a local hospital.

Mr Ortiz was born  and raised in Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents Gregorio and Herlinda Ortiz and by his brothers Jose Angel Ortiz and Roberto Ortiz.

He is survived by his wife  of 25 years of marriage Antonieta M. Ortiz.

His six children, Gregorio (Priscilla) Ortiz III, Ruben Alfredo Ortiz, Melissa J. Ortiz, Ricardo (Ruby) Ortiz, Nannette Ramos Ortiz and Tanya Azanette Ortiz.

His 8 grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Brother; Juan F. Ortiz and his two sisters Maria N. Ortiz and Carmen Ortiz.

Also surviving him are numerous other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Friday, October 7, 2022 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Funeral Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave . Holy Mass was celebrated at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Committal services will be held at a later date.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Ricardo Ortiz, Ruben Ortiz, Gregorio Ortiz III, Jorge A. Meza, Christelle Flores, Joseph A. Gomez, Kiko Flores and Gilberto Barragan.

HONORARY PALLBEARER: Danny Ortiz.

Funeral services are under the direction of the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Funeral Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave.
