GUADALUPE A. LOPEZ

Guadalupe A. Lopez, 83, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.

Mrs. Lopez was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Juan Arias  and Esperanza Esquivel.

Her beloved husband, Manuel Lopez.

Son, Emanuel Lopez.

Granddaughter, Alessandra Renee Vergara.

She is survived by her daughters, Aide Ortiz, Veronica (Hilario) Garcia, Zulma Lopez and Alma I. (Alfredo) Vergara.

Grandchildren, Veronica (Andy) Rivera, Daisy Garcia, Haydee Ortiz, Cesar Manuel Garcia, Valerie Ortiz, Jordan Ortiz, Manuel Ortiz, Angel Emmanuel Vergara, Abel Vergara, Aaron Vergara and Abbie Vergara.

 Great grandson, Sebastian Benavides.

Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased and rosary officiated by Rev. Deacon Miguel Vallarta will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Committal services will be held on a later date.
