MR. GUADALUPE CARDONA

Mr. Guadalupe Cardona, 74, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025.

Mr. Cardona was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Maria Cardona.

Siblings, Teresa Cardona, Margarito Cardona, Magdaleno Cardona, Santiago Cardona and Dominga Cardona.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lucina Cardona.

Daughter, Anel Guadalupe Cardona.

Son, Juan Francisco Cardona.

Grandchildren, Audrey A. Gonzalez, Joshua J. Gonzalez and Alfredo Gonzalez Jr.

Siblings, Maria Cardona, Fidel Cardona, Rene Cardona and Juan Cardona.

Also surviving him are numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 1, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
