GUADALUPE M. HERRERA

Guadalupe M. Herrera, 94, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025 in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Herrera was born in Coahuila, Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dionicio Martinez and Guadalupe Martinez.
Son, Juan Carlos Herrera.
Brother, Dionicio Martinez.
Sisters, Dora Mendoza, Trinidad Martinez, Alicia Navarro and Carmela Valadez.

She is survived by her loving husband, of 78 years of marriage, Celestino Herrera.
Children, Sylvia Ballesteros, Jesus Celestino Herrera, Maria De Los Angeles Rodriguez, Gerardo Edilberto Herrera, Ana Laura Medina, Maria Guadalupe Herrera, Cynthia Melissa Cadena, Jorge Herrera,  Rosalio Herrera, Adriana Mendoza, Daniel Herrera, and Dalia Castillo.
33 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, April 25, 2025. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Peter The Apostle Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WILL BE: Jesus Celestino Herrera, Gerardo Edilberto Herrera, Rosalio Herrera, Jessie Herrera, Daniel Herrera, and Jorge Herrera.
