MR. GUADALUPE I. LARA

Mr. Guadalupe I. Lara, 85, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024.

Mr. Lara was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lucia Lara Lancon.

Mother, Felicita Lara.

Siblings, Francisco Lara, Jesus Lara, Ninfa Salinas and Alejandro Lara.

Son, Jesus (Rosalinda) Lancon.

Brother, Ramon Lara.

He is survived by his children, Maria Elena (Ricardo Caballero Monroy) Lancon, Felipe (Leticia) Lancon, Lucia (Guadalupe) Saldaña, Reyna Guadalupe Lancon and Febronio (Marta) Lancon.

34 grandchildren, , 47 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.

Sister, Juanita Lara.

Also surviving him are numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased, officiated by Rev. Deacon Miguel Vallarta, will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Committal services will be held on a later date.
