MRS. GUADALUPE LERMA Mrs. Guadalupe Lerma, 84, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at a local hospital. Mrs. Lerma was a life long resident of Laredo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alberto Lerma Sr. who passed away on April 7, 2010. She is survived by her children, Alberto Lerma, Jr., Rosa (Samuel) Garcia and Joe "Flash" (Yolanda) Lerma. Grandchildren, Albert Lerma III, Jason (Janette) Lerma, Lizette (David) Sepulveda, Joey Lerma Jr., Jaime A. (Kristina) Lerma, Liza Lerma, Samuel Garcia Jr., Priscilla A. Garcia and Vanessa A. Garcia. Great-grandchildren, Abigail Lerma, Sabrina Lerma, David Sepulveda Jr., Giselle Sepulveda, Joey Lerma III, Kayla Lerma, Karolina Lerma, Kiandra Lerma, Ariely Lerma, Isabel Marie Garcia and Jose Alberto Lerma. Brother, Jose (Alicia) De Leon. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. The Lerma Family would like to thank Dr. Diego Menchaca and Staff, Dr. Benson Huang and Staff and Margo Martinez RN, and staff of Laredo Quality Home Health for their unconditional support and attention they provided to our mother. Also we would like to thank Laredo Ambulance Service, Angel Care Ambulance Service and Laredo Medical Center Staff. Last, but not least our special thanks to her personal care providers Juany Guzman and Mari Euresti. Visitation and a Vigil of the Deceased was held on Thursday, July 26, 2012 in the Hernandez Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8 a.m. on Friday, July 27, 2012 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Veteran's Section of the Laredo City Cemetery.
