MRS. GUADALUPE LUCIO Mrs. Guadalupe Lucio,69, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2015 at a local hospital. Mr. Lucio was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Hector S. Collado. Children, Marina Lucio, Hector S. Collado and Luis G. Lucio. She is survived by her children, Nidia L. (Fernando) Hernandez, Nancy C. (Fernando) Hernandez and Jesus (Samantha) Lucio, Brothers and sisters, Alberto (Maria) Lucio, Jose (Rosa) Pescador, Maria de Jesus Pescador, Evangelina (Aristeo) Mandujano, Jesus (Rosario) Pescador, Joel (Martina) Pescador, Raul (Elma) Pescador, Hector (Guadalupe) Pescador, Amado Pescador, Delfina Pescador, Laura Pescador and Antonio (Tomasa) Pescador. 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Also surviving her are numerous nephews, nieces other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons East Chapel, 4500 Thomas Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
