Obituary

GUADALUPE RUIZ MORENO

Guadalupe Ruiz Moreno, 102, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

She lived through the world's greatest generation raising 7 children. Aside from her sense of humor, her strongest characteristic has always been her resiliency. She was headstrong and positive. She will be dearly missed.

Mrs. Moreno was born in Ameca, Jalisco, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marcelino Ruiz Ruiz and Antonia Garcia Aguilar.
Her beloved husband, Salvador Moreno.
Brother, Jesse Ruiz.
She is survived by her children, Maria G. Leja, Salvador Moreno, Roberto Mreno, Catalina (Jorge) Velez, Enrique Moreno, Santiago (Carlota) Moreno and Juan (Veronica) Moreno.
12 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
PALLBEARERS: Juan Moreno, Salvador Moreno, Roberto Moreno, Enrique Moreno, Santiago Moreno, Daniel Moreno, Carlos Martinez and Jorge Velez.
