Obituary

GUILLERMO PEÑA
Guillermo Peña, 85, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021.
Mr. Peña was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eduardo and Maria Peña.
His wife,  Maria Irma Pena,
Sisters, Mercedes Smith and Lucia Lancon
Brother, Manuel Pena
He is survived by his children, Guillermo (Gloria) Peña Jr., Eduardo (Rosalinda) Peña, Leticia (Alfredo) Gomez, Rosalinda (Jorge) Medina, Maria Esmeralda (Jose Francisco) Alvarado, Norma (Luis) Villarreal and Graciela (Carlos Alberto) Perales.
25 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Sister, Ramona Peña.
Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.
The Family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to Dr. Armando Hinojosa and to the Nurses and Staff at Esperanza's Hospice.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:05 a.m. on Friday, August 27, 2021.  Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
