Guillermo "Willie" R. Gonzalez Jr.

Guillermo "Willie" R. Gonzalez Jr. entered into eternal rest on March 18, 2025, at the age of 79.

He was born on February 10, 1946, in Del Rio, Texas, to Guillermo "Willie" Gonzales Sr. and Leonora Burrell Gonzales.

Willie was a well-known and respected bull hauler for most of his life, a profession he took great pride in. After many years on the road as a bull hauler, he continued his career as a truck driver, a job he truly enjoyed. Throughout his journey, he met countless friends and built lasting relationships.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Guillermo "Willie" Gonzales Sr. and Leonora Burrell Gonzales; his sister, Rosalinda Gonzales; his son, Guillermo Ramie Gonzales III; and his uncle,John Gonzales.

Willie leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory: his devoted wife of 41 years, Anna L. Garza; his brother, Johnny Gonzales; his sons, James Gonzales, Michael (Christina) Gonzales, and Daniel (Amanda) Gonzales; and his daughters, Christy (Tony) Ramos and Cynthia (Freddy) Castillo.

He was a proud grandfather to Sarah Gonzales, David Gonzales, Ryan Gonzales, Cyler Gonzales, Kaitlyn Ramos, Colby Gonzales, Kendall Ramos, Klayton Ramos, Cannon Gonzales, Ayden Castillo, and Andrew Castillo. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Willie's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his legacy and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Funeral Services are as follows,

A final blessing and committal service will be held at Calvary Catholic Cemetery on Monday, March 31, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Col 4 West, Row A, Niche 16.
