GUSTAVO DAVILA
Gustavo Davila, 83, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016 at a local hospital.
Mr. Davila was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose C. and Amalia Davila.
Brothers, Homero Treviño, Jesus Davila and Horacio Davila.
Sisters, Dora D. Lopez, Antonia Peña, Concepcion Moran and Librada Degollado.
Grandson, Fernando Cantu III.
He is survived by his wife, Jesusa G. Davila.
Daughters, Christina (Guadalupe) Morin Jr. and Griselda (Fernando) Cantu Jr.
Grandchildren, Christina M. Cantu, Fernando Cantu IV, Guadalupe S. Morin III and Gustavo Morin.
Also surviving him are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin at 9:25 a.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
