Hector "Cora" Cavazos' Obituary
HECTOR "CORA" CAVAZOS
Hector "Cora" Cavazos, 81, passed away on July 22, 2020, at a local hospital.
Mr. Cavazos was born in Zapata, Texas and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Felipe and Juliana Cavazos.
Brother, Rene Cavazos and Roberto (Arcadia) Cavazos.
Nephews, Davis Cavazos, Osvaldo Cavazos and Martin Escamilla.
He is survived by his sons, Hector Omar Cavazos and Edgar Antonio Cavazos.
Brother, Isidro (Alicia) Cavazos.
Nieces, Sylvia Cavazos Escamilla, Ninfa (Daniel) Benavides, Diana Carter and Irene (Nicolas) Cavazos Garduño and Roberto (Eva) Cavazos Jr.
Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.
Following the Ordinance by the State of Texas, Visitations will be limited to 40 people inside our funeral home.
It is preferred for minor children not be allowed to attend services.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased, officiated by Rev. Deacon Leonard Aguillon, will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
A Liturgy of the Word, officiated by Rev. Deacon Aguillon, will be held at 9 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
