Obituary

HECTOR DOMINGUEZ JR.

On the evening of October 7, 2024, our beloved Hector Dominguez Jr. began his celestial journey home at the age of 71. Mr. Dominguez was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident. He was a graduate of Martin High School, Class of 1974. "Once a Tiger, Always a Tiger". Hector was a loving grandfather, father, husband, brother, son and friend that will be forever missed.

Mr. Dominguez was one of the original members of the Gypsy Motorcycle Club Laredo Chapter, where he was  known as "Hecky", he served many years and has performed duties as a secretary and up to President, and now is a Gypsy MC Lifer. Being a Biker was the love of his life and riding was his ultimate joy with a passion for the motorcycle club as well as for community events held throughout the City of Laredo. He obtained his 1955 Harley Davidson Panhead back in 1973 and has had it ever since.

In his early years, he worked in the oilfield for many years and went on to be a truck driver for Western, Celadon and Halliburton. Mr. Dominguez was also a truck driver for CG&S Valve Company working under James Powers. From there he went on to work at Pete Gallegos Paving and his last employment was with the City of Laredo as a truck driver driving a city sweeper for many years. After his retirement, he dedicated his time to care for his wife Margaret and mother Carlota.

Hector is preceded in death by his parents, Hector Dominguez Sr. and Carlota P. Dominguez, second wife, Margaret N. Dominguez and brother-in-law, Richard David Tressler.

He is survived by the mother of his children/partner in crime, Delia F. Dominguez. His children, Kordelia (Edgar) Dominguez and Andrew Dominguez and his pride and joy his grandson Owen Nicholas (future biker like grandpa) who brought light into his life, his caregiver and provider who became more like family Jessica Aguirre, his loving cats Loki and Tracy, cousin Joyce Nething, as well as his family at the Laredo Gypsy Motorcycle Club and siblings Sylvia D. Torres (Chris) and Omar (Sandra) Dominguez. Also surviving are numerous relatives and many friends.

Mr. Dominguez's family will like to thank Dr. Norberto Alvarez his continued care, the doctors and nurses at Laredo Medical Center and Brightstar Care.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Committal services will be held on a later date.
