HECTOR LUIS LOPEZ Hector Luis Lopez, 71, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at a local hospital. Mr. Lopez was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. He was a loan officer for over 40 years at the Economy Finance. Our brother, uncle and great grand uncle was the most loving and caring person, who was greatly loved by his brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces. He was always being the great joker of all the parties Tio Tito as he was lovingly called loved the outdoors, mainly his plants, music, loved to dance and was super friendly even to strangers. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gregorio and Tomasa Lopez. Sister, Esperanza Amelia Lopez. Nephew, Raul Demetrio Hernandez. He is survived by his sisters, Olga L. (Pedro) Villafranca, Margarita L. (Humberto) Sandoval and Guadalupe Cisneros. Brother, Gregorio (Consuelo S.) Lopez Jr. Also numerous other relatives and many friends. The Lopez Family would like to offer a special heartfelt thanks to his caregivers Viviana Zarate and Dolores Cedillo. Also to Dr. Carlos Llanes, Dr. Arthur D. Santos, Dr. Carlos Cigarroa and ICU staff and also to Mrs. Graciela Jaime from Mi Esperanza Provider Care for all the special attention given to Mr. Hector Luis Lopez. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 15, 2012 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:05 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2012. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services will be held at a later date.
