HECTOR JESUS MURAIRA Hector Jesus Muraira, 83, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013 at a local hospital. Mr. Muraira was born in Houston, Texas and had been a life long resident of Laredo, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Muraira and Concepcion Marroquin Muraira. Brother, Jose Muraira, Jr. He is survived by his siblings, Elsa Reyes, Roberto (Rosa Isela) Muraira, Maria Elena (Jaime, dec'd) Ramirez, Lucy (Dan) Camarena, Irma Olga (Raul) Medina and Alicia (Ramiro, dec'd) Rodriguez. Also surviving him are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m., December 31, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
