HECTOR PEÑA
Hector Peña, 59, passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021.
Mr. Peña was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas. He enjoyed being a Supervisor at US Cold Storage for over 20 years and was know to be a devoted super fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He will be dearly missed by his Family and Friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Vicente Peña and Stepfather, Rogelio Flores.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Ernestina Peña.
His loving wife, of 24 years of marriage, Maria Guadalupe Peña.
Children, Hector (Ann) Peña Jr., Sonny Joe Peña, Ashley Marie Peña, Joanna (Gilbert) Caballeros, Kevin Peña, Juan Peña, Alexa Peña and Michael Peña.
Grandchildren, Hector Peña III, Jayden Trujillo, Jayla Peña, Mikayla Peña, Kamilah Vargas, Mackenzie Peña and Daisy Caballero.
Siblings, Juan (Guadalupe) Peña, Rosa (Basilio) Ramos, Antonia (Oscar) Martinez, Vicente Peña, Alberto Peña, Cirilo Peña, Manuel (Leticia) Peña, Elizabeth (Chris) Molina and Tina (David) Inguanzo.
Also surviving him are nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. Holy Mass will be 9:00 a.m. celebrated at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
