HERLINDA C. LINAN Herlinda C. Linan, 90, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013 at a local hospital. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Reymundo Linan. Sons, Gaspar Linan, Oscar One and Oscar 2nd. Parents, Jacobo Cortez and Manuela Casiano. Siblings, Dolores Maldonado, Jacobo Cortez Jr., Jesus Cortez and Jose Cortez. She is survived by her sons and daughters Carlos Linan, Juan R. (Margarita) Linan, Roberto (Maria De La Luz) Linan, Xavier (Micaela) Linan, Juanita Carmen Linan, Yolanda Castro and Elva (Jesus) Guerra. 18 grandchildren. Great-grandchildren. Great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving her are nephews, nieces, numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1, 2013 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 noon at Immaculate Heart Of Mary Church, 401 Santa Fe St. in Encinal, Texas. Committal services and interment will then follow at the Encinal Cemetery.
