HERLINDA MEJIA Herlinda Mejia,73, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013 in Laredo, Texas. Mrs. Mejia was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas Mexico and had been a life long resident of Laredo, Texas. She is preceded in death by her sons, Jose Alfredo Mejia, Mario Mejia and Baby Boy Mejia. Siblings, Juan Jose Flores, Guadalupe Tristan, Josefina Gonzalez, Ramona Reyes, Felicitas Mora, Ramon Arredondo Jr., Jose Arredondo and Jesus Roberto Arredondo. She is survived by her children, Juanita (Urbano) Garza, Jesus (Elia) Mejia, Maria Guadalupe (Antonio) Garcia, Teodora (Enrique) Tello and Nora Elia Mejia. 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Siblings, Isidoro Flores, Canuto Flores, Virginia Flores, Eliseo Arredondo and San Juanita Arredondo. Also surviving her are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
