HERMELINDO G. ESQUIVEL December 25, 1938 - JANUARY 1, 2012 Hermelindo G. Esquivel, 73, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2012 at a local hospital. Mr. Esquivel was born in San Carlos, Sabinas Nuevo Leon Mexico and had been a resident of Laredo, Texas for most of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro Esquivel and Ortencia Guzman Esquivel; also several other family members, Maria De Jesus Ruelas and Enrique Ruelas, Samuel and Julia Esquivel, Oneyda Cantu and Ovidio Cantu, Rosa and Juan Arnero, Franqui and Jessie Juarez and Norma Esquivel. He is survived by his loving wife, Hermelinda R. Esquivel. Children, Hermelindo (Guillermina C.) Esquivel Jr. Rosalinda Esquivel and Juan M. Esquivel. Grandchildren, Carlos, Orlando, Karina, Omar, Daniel and Karyme Esquivel, Bryan, Esmeralda, Perla and Hermelindo Esquivel III. Siblings, Pedro (Gloria) Esquivel and Reymundo (Tomasa) Esquivel. Also numerous other relatives and many friends. In Lieu of flowers the family is requesting monetary donations be made for the funeral expense. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 6 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, January 6, 2012 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at San Agustin Cathedral. Committal services will be held at a later date
