HERMINIA M. CONTRERAS

Herminia M. Contreras, 91, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025 in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Contreras was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a lifelong resident.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Josefina Martinez.
Spouse, Jose Contreras.
Brothers, Pedro Martinez Jr., Candelario Martinez and Victor Martinez.
Sisters, Maria Castañon and Rosa Aguilar.

She is survived by her brothers, Juan Martinez and Manuel (Amelia) Martinez.

Also surviving her are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. at the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. A chapel service officiated by Rev. Deacon Miguel Vallarta will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
