HILARIO MARTINEZ

Hilario Martinez, 79, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.

Mr. Martinez was born in Laredo, Texas and was a long life resident. He was a United Stated Army Veteran having served in Vietnam and was duly awarded the NDSM, VCM, VSM, MKM M-14 and 2 O/S BARS. He will be dearly missed by all those whose lives he touched.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Guadalupe Vasquez, Jose M. Vasquez.
Grandfather, Cresencio Rocha.
Mother, Antonia Rocha Martinez.
Sister, Ramona Martinez.

Also surviving him are aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, August 18, 2025. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
