HILDA TERESA RAMOS PLA October 11, 1947 - August 14, 2015 Hilda Teresa Ramos Pla was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident. Our beloved mother and sister passed away peacefully with her sons by her side. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose E. Ramos Sr. and Viola E. Ramos. Sister, Elsa P. Ramos. Hilda is survived by her sons, Mauricio (Alma) Pla and Gustavo Pla. Brothers, Jose E. (Berta) Ramos Jr. and Arturo X. (Elsa) Ramos. Uncle, Thomas C. (Elsie) Russo. Special Friend, Launce A. Powers. Also surviving her are nephews and nieces, other relatives and many friends. Hilda was a strong willed, loveable person. We will miss her dearly. Until we meet again. Rest in Peace. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2015 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will be held at a later date.
