Ignacio Hernandez Jr.

Ignacio Hernandez Jr. passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Ignacio was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed life to the fullest.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ignacio Hernandez Sr. and Amelia Hernandez and by his brother Carlos Hernandez.

He is survived by his eight brothers and sisters, Jose A. (Sara) Hernandez, Alfredo Hernandez, Juan Francisco (Reyna) Hernandez, Daniel Hernandez, Raul (Jesusa) Hernandez, Sandra Sanchez, Jorge Alberto (Cristina) Hernandez and Enrique (Nieves) Hernandez.

Also surviving him are numerous other relatives and many friends.

Following the Ordinance by the State of Texas, visitation will be limited to 25% of capacity inside our funeral home. It is preferred that minor children not be allowed to attend services.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Prayer Service will be officiated at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Funeral Chapels, 800 Boston St at San Bernardo Ave. Committal services and interment  will be held at a later date.
