Obituary

IGNACIO SALINAS JR.
Ignacio Salinas Jr., 84, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022.
Mr. Salinas was born in McAllen, Texas and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ignacio and Cruz Salinas.
Sisters, Socorro Alaniz and Eliza Serato.
Brother, Homero Serato.
Grandson, Neil Salinas.
He is survived by his loving wife, Guadalupe Salinas.
Children, Homero (Rosario) Salinas., Guadalupe (Graciela) Salinas, Ignacio (Maritsa) Salinas III, Gerardo (Angelita) Salinas and Sylvia Salinas.
23 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Sisters, Crucita, Nora and Belinda.
Brothers, Ruben Serato, Mario Serato, Marin Serato and Armando Serato.
Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 11, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home at 8:05 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2022. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
