IGNACIO SANTOS December 20, 1938 - September 28, 2012 Mr. Ignacio Santos was called by the Lord at the age of 73, at 10:00 p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2012. at a local hospital in Laredo Texas. He was born in Nuevo Laredo Tamaulipas, but lived in Laredo Texas most of his life. He is preceded in death by his father and Mother Jose Maria Santos and Paula Espinoza. He is survived by his loving wife Alicia Santos Valdez. His five Daughters: Paula (Jesus +) Ponce, San Juana (Luis) Carreon, Ofelia Santos, Alicia (Gerardo) Ortiz and Maria Caravantes (Jose Rangel). Twelve grandchildren. Six great grandchildren. Also surviving him are numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 1, 2012 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Southside Chapels, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at San Vicente De Paul Catholic Church. Committal services will be held at a later date.
