IGNACIO TORRES SR.
Ignacio Torres, 95, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019 in Laredo, Texas.
"Two Time Vietnam era Gold Star father"
Ignacio Torres was born in San Marcos, Texas and had been a longlife resident of Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Francisca Clark Torres.
Son, SGT: Ignacio Torres Jr. and PFC: Eliseo C. Torres.
Daughter, Gloria D. McInnis.
He is survived by his children, Robert (Amy) Torres, Daniel C. Torres, Joe Michael Torres, Juan Noe Torres, Apolinar (Alberto) Arocha, Emma (Kamel) Shrek and Veronica (Teofilo E.) Cavazos Sr.
Sister, Tia "Panchita" Rafaela Trejo.
22 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Also surviving him are many relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 20, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:05 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2019. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
