IRENE CANALES
Irene Canales, 64, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at a local hospital.
Mrs. Canales was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a lifelong resident.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Luis and Tomasa Meza.
She is survived by her loving husband, Hector Martin Canales.
Children, Claudia (Adan) Esquivel, Hector Martin (Veronica) Canales Jr., Adriana Herrera, Alma Delia (Reymundo) Hernandez, Ana Luisa (Ismael) Delgado and Irene Melissa Canales.
Grandchildren, Adan Jr, Hector III., Brianna, Miguel Jr., Francisco, Alina, Ismael III., AnaSofia and Isela.
Cousins, Raquel Meza and Gonzalo (Leonor) Meza.
Comadres, Bertha (Rafael) Campos Vasquez and Irma Ruiz.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 pm. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m on Thursday, October 5, 2017, departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
