Irma Garcia
February 7, 1937 – October 22, 2024

Irma Garcia was born in Laredo, Texas. Lived in Chicago, Ill, Sheboygan, Wisconsin and then returned to Laredo, Texas. She was a licensed stylist and was a graduate of Laredo Beauty College. She was a talented seamstress and was also known to be a devout Christian. She will be dearly missed by all those whose lives she touched.

She is preceded in death by her parents Federico and Cenona Garcia and 4 siblings.

She is survived by her sister Margarita (Alfonso) Ortiz, children Barbara (Alejandro) Ali, Porfirio Jorge Sosa (Maria Asevedo), Ida (Enrique) Sosa - Rodriguez, 13 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Committal services and Interment followed at the City of Laredo Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Alejandro Ali Jr., David C. Martinez, James C. Garza, Arturo Sosa, Gabriel Sosa,  Jorge Sosa and Alejandro Ali Sr.
