IRMA HERNANDEZ Irma Hernandez, 62, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at a local hospital. Mrs. Hernandez was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas Mexico and had been a resident of Laredo, Texas for most of his life. She is preceded in death by his parents, Juan Garza and Amalia De La Cruz. Sister, Andrea Alvarado. She is survived by her loving husband Tomas Hernandez. Children, Claudia Rubio, Sara (Daniel) Zepeda, Veronica Villa Toro and Tomas Hernandez Jr. 10 grandchildren. Sisters, San Juana Villarreal, Catalina De La Cruz and Carolina (Roberto) Hernandez. Brother, Juan Francisco (Esperanza) Garza. Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2012 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
